Window tint in Severance, Colorado

Severance sits high and open, and most of what we tint from out here lives outside full time — work trucks, second vehicles, trailers of equipment parked next to them. There is no garage phase to the day and no mature tree line to break up the sun, so the vehicle takes the entire arc of it and then gets driven home into whatever is left.

That changes the calculation on which film to pick. For a vehicle garaged most of the day, carbon is plenty. For one that bakes in the open from seven in the morning until six at night, the difference between rejecting 65% and 85% of the infrared is something you feel on the door handle, not just on a spec sheet.

None of it is a problem — it just means telling us what is on the truck when you book so the time we set aside is honest.
