The details

Wired clean, done right

The difference between a good electronics install and a bad one is everything you can't see: clean routing, proper fusing, and hidden wiring that won't rattle, short, or drain your battery. That's where we shine.

We install dash cams, radar detectors, light bars and pods, and stereo systems with tucked, fused, factory-quality wiring. Front-and-rear dash cam setups, hardwired detectors, auxiliary lighting on proper switches, upgraded head units and speakers — all done so it simply works. Weighing a dash cam? Read whether you need professional dash cam installation and why a hardwired dash cam pays off on road trips.

Serving Windsor, Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and Northern Colorado.

Choosing gear

What to know before you install

A little planning up front means the right features, a clean look, and no surprises with your battery or dash.

Dash cams

A front camera records what happens ahead; a front-and-rear setup adds the view behind you, which matters for rear-end impacts and parking-lot bumps. Hardwiring unlocks parking mode, which records when something hits the vehicle while it's parked, with a low-voltage cutoff so the battery is protected. We mount the camera behind the mirror, out of your line of sight.

Radar detectors

Hardwired and mounted cleanly, so there's no cord hanging across the dash, and powered so it turns on and off with the vehicle.

Lighting

Light bars, pods, and work or reverse lights — handy for backing up to a trailer or lighting up a dark driveway. Every light gets its own relay, fuse, and switch.

Stereos

Upgraded head units with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, plus speakers and amplifiers. On most vehicles we can keep your steering-wheel controls and backup camera using the correct interface for your make and model.

What a clean install includes

  • Power taken from the correct fuse circuit with an add-a-fuse, instead of splicing into factory wiring.
  • Wires routed behind trim panels and the headliner and secured so nothing rattles or pinches.
  • Proper connectors and protected connections that hold up to Colorado's temperature swings.
  • Everything tested with you before you leave — camera views, parking mode, switches, and audio.

Already bought your gear?

In many cases we can install parts you already have — just tell us the make and model when you ask for a quote. We can also recommend and source proven equipment that fits your vehicle and budget.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can you hide the wiring?

Yes — clean, hidden wiring is the whole point. We route and tuck wires out of sight and fuse everything properly so your install looks and performs factory-clean.

Will a dash cam or hardwire drain my battery?

No. We hardwire with proper fusing and, where supported, battery-protection so parking-mode features work without leaving you with a dead battery.

Can you install lighting on a switch?

Absolutely. Light bars and pods are wired to proper switches or control systems with a relay and fuse, so they're safe, legal, and easy to use.

Can I keep my steering wheel controls and backup camera with a new stereo?

On most vehicles, yes. We use the correct interface adapter for your make and model and confirm compatibility before ordering anything.

Are radar detectors legal in Colorado?

Yes, in personal vehicles. Federal rules prohibit radar detectors in commercial motor vehicles over 10,000 lbs, so we don't install them in those.

“Zach did a thorough and professional repair to the windshield of my 2019 Toyota RAV4 at a FRACTION of the cost I was quoted at Safelite. I will never go back to the “name brands” when an identical repair handled by an attentional-to-detail small-business is available. Very pleased!”

★★★★★
“My parents had their windows tinted at Adams Auto Restyling and highly recommended them, so I decided to bring my car in as well. Zach was great to work with and provided professional, high-quality service from start to finish. They tinted all the windows on my SUV, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My vehicle looks sleek, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in heat and glare when driving in the sun. I was so impressed that I’ve already booked an appointment for a full interior and exterior detail, including a ceramic coating to restore the shine and protect the paint. Highly recommend!”
